Irish Hand Dancing

Finley loves, loves, loves Hadley and the feeling is mutual.  He can get the BEST belly laughs from her.  She loves to watch him and her face lights up when he's acting silly.  When I worried about having two kids, this was the part that I hoped for!

Finley mastered the somersault!

Post-bath playing!

We went to the Sports Center with Tara, Jake & Gracie, Dave & Elle.

Hadley & Gracie are growing so quickly (Hadley is 16 days older).

Hadley was determined to get her hands on Gracie, she got one good face-grab.

Finley immediately found his beloved Dora ball, this time he added a green tutu to his must-have items.  When he took it off?  Yup, mom had to hold that too.

Patrick has been hunting, so I've been a single mom ALL weekend.  We did a little of everything and anything for entertainment.  We went to (our) first Blugold game of the season!

Hadley found her feet - it's tough to pull them up with those rolly legs/belly, but she manages to grab on and thinks it's funny.

Finley ventured outside to play in the snow.  He had directions to stay where I could see him...from the window.  I like this teeny bit of independence, it was nice to watch from the inside.

We colored on the windows!

Hadley received a special gift from the Dowells!  We were sad that Jake signed with the Dallas Stars, moving him further away from his family, but they do have cute pink/purple gear!

Have you seen Irish Hand Dancing on youtube? Finley has! He was trying to mimic their fast moves, it's hilarious. When they stop and rest their hands, so does he, when they drum their fingers, he does too. I wish the video would post larger, it's hilarious how closely he mimics them. Grandma taped this on her iphone, she didn't know you can't move the camera side-ways without the picture moving side-ways too.
