Fun w/ Friends

This week brought fewer organized activities and more of our favorite What should we do today? days. Lately my kids kinda drive me bonkers w/ the intentional bugging of one another and spontaneous fun w/ friends perfectly distracts them.

Pick one - the beach or invite a friend over. Friends won :)

The girls played and played and played and played.

I couldn't get the kid's sprinkler to hook up, so I turned on the irrigation system and the group had to rotate around the yard w/ the automated program.

100 water balloons filled and tied in 60 seconds, best invention ever.

Popsicle break.

Hadley was invited for dinner and more playing at Allie & Lily's house. I think she held Daisy the entire time.

Poor Daisy even sat at the dinner table w/ her.

Summer baseball is still happening, Finley likes to pitch and play 3rd base.

W/ a rainy forecast, we postponed our waterfall hike w/ Elle & Elise and hit up Sky Zone instead. Friends & cousins jumping around.

8 kids took on the $2 Hurricane.

Finley & Liam finished up golf lessons.

Each week they worked on driving and putting. Finley really liked the lessons and will definitely do them again next summer.

As promised, after their last lesson, the Grandpas took the boys golfing.

Hadley is having fun w/ all of my Cabbage Patch Kid stuff.

The kids spent the weekend w/ Grandpa & Grandma - fish fry w/ friends turned into golfing w/ Peter, I'm sure Finley had a blast!

Grandpa treated them to breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts.

Grandpa & Grandma kept them busy w/ the 4H County Fair and Chalkfest - Finley drew the solar system.

Finley celebrated Mason's birthday w/ friends at the Express game!

And the next day he left w/ Nicholas & family for GB...

...to celebrate Nicholas's birthday at Lambeau Field w/ Packer Family Night! 

Thanks to Bobbie for taking MANY pictures, I got to see what the kids were up to!

This weekend we had our own fun w/ friends on our annual trip to Scotty's cabin.

Nick was catching fish that were swimming between Ryan's legs - they're like giant kids.
