The Dragons finished off their season w/ a doubleheader-playoff. They won the first game and nearly won the championship, losing by one run.
From rivals to teammates - William & Finley went from facing off in the championship to teammates the next night.

We celebrated the Dragon's season at an Express game, they were the Youth Team of the Night. After a 90 minute rain delay, they warmed up w/ the team.
They lined up to be introduced and run onto the field.
They stood on the field for player introductions and the Star Spangled Banner, Finley is second from right.
Back into the tunnel.
Finley was chosen to race Trax from second plate to home.
He won and even did a victory dance at the very end 😄
Flip to summer ball and Valley Stars. They had their first game and second games (outside of last weekend's tourney) and won both!
U8 is considered Coach Pitch, but in preparation for Kid Pitch next year, the games will be kid-pitch and the tournaments will be coach-pitch. Finley has been sooooo excited to try pitching.
Our annual day visiting all 32 sculptures on the Sculpture Tour. Coincidentally, we went on the exact same day last summer (FB told me). We walked for the downtown sculptures, they are too close together to bike and zig-zagging through traffic sounds scary.
Hadley wasn't as enthusiastic about the walk.
We biked a 5-mile loop on the trail to see the last few sculptures.
The King of Spades got Finley's vote for the People's Choice Award.
We stopped to see the cranes in action across the river.
And finished off our adventure at Ramone's for ice cream!
Lazy sister. For real, she has mastered the art of laziness. Whenever she is asked to do anything, she flops down and is super dramatic about how hard it is...like brushing her teeth is such a giant deal.
Hadley had her 6-year check up! She's in the 72% for height and 48% for weight. Everything was going really well until my coffee was knocked off the counter and spilled all over the pediatrician's office. I felt totally awesome when Dr Myhre was UNDER her desk cleaning it up (so embarrassing). In the midst of the chaos, I didn't take any pictures, so here's Hadley & Dr. Myhre at her 3ish month visit.
Golf lessons...
...followed by lunch w/ Grandpa...
...and a golf date for these three. They'd been waiting for this to happen!
Tomorrow my baby turns 9, seriously 9 YEARS since I met Finley. One more year and he's a full two-hands old!
