I'm sooooo behind on blogging! I started a post twoish weeks ago and it's sitting here. It's getting longer, and I have more pictures to upload, and I haven't given any time to sit down and work on it. So, we're alive, just never home. It feels like a scramble most days. We went hiking and to Chicago and have had birthday parties and play dates and saw the eclipse and now we're getting in back-to-school appointments.
School is only 1.5 weeks away, I look forward to the routine (but not necessarily setting the alarm again). I look forward to the house staying picked up longer than two minutes. Patrick travels 3-4 days/week, so the kids and I are together 24/7, and I'm kind of "over" entertaining them, so there's this to look forward to...if only it were actually true!
