Spencer Sleeps Over

How to tell it’s been a slow week? #1: On Saturday, you discover there are pictures from two events this week. #2: On a typical "jammie day" (staying home all day), you dress your baby just in case a photo opportunity comes up...here goes...
Finley had his first paid babysitter this week! Hannah, our next-door neighbor, has anxiously awaited the opportunity to babysit. Unfortunately for her, with Grandma 1.9 miles away and a nervous mom (she's a teenager!), we hadn't used her yet. Finally on Tuesday we had a 45 minute window we needed someone – Hannah happily filled in!
On Friday, Grandma & Grandpa took Finley to Rochester for his “helmet appointment”. Things look good, we continue to see progress!
In fact, in early December, had Finley’s head looked like it does now (does that make sense?) – we probably would’ve skipped the helmet altogether! That being said, we are NOT stopping treatment…but I continue to chant, “3 months! 3 months!”. Here's the "before" top-down picture and one from this weekend...is it just us? Can you see progress too?
In two weeks, Olga will scan and take new measurements (they only do this once every 4-6 weeks). I'm anxious to know the exact progress...has our "4" moved closer to a "2"?

Leslie (PT) visited Finley too and was pleased with his progress. She didn’t add any new stretches or exercises, just keep doing as we are.
Our little boy is sitting sooooo good! He’s sitting unassisted for 5+ minutes, and he’s reaching for toys while balancing – it’s exciting!
Saturday night Patrick and I had a first…two babies in our care overnight! Spencer slept over! I will NEVER wish for twins...it was fun, but it was very busy!

Spencer & Auntie - doesn't he look thrilled?!

Spencer eats "big people" food, none of that baby stuff for him!

Spencer is into EVERYTHING! He followed Auntie around (he's not crazy about Uncle Patrick), he showed me all the things I'll need to babyproof when Finley goes mobile.

After months of being checked over by Spencer,
Finley is now the interested one :)

I attempted numerous pictures of the boys playing together; by the time I picked up the camera, Spencer was usually off...that's his bottom crawling away!
We practiced sharing too!

Finley gives a shout-out to those in Mexico! With highs below zero by mid-week, we are really jealous! Do you miss this face yet? How can you not? We miss you guys!

Oh my gosh...it's not just you guys, you can totally see progress! It's amazing how fast that takes place. He's starting to look less baby-like too!

Oh my gosh he is adorable! We will definitely try to have a baby date before we head back to Idaho.
