On Thursday I ran to school for a 45 minute tech inservice, Finley had two special babysitters...Elle & Melissa! Before they arrived, we brought out baby supplies, put blankets on the floor and talked about sharing; Finley was ready for "Helle" to come over :) When it was time for me to go, he gave me a kiss and said "bye bye", he didn't care that mom was leaving, he had fresh blood in the house!
Finley showed Elle how to play with his toys...
...and made sure he got a turn too. Thanks Melissa for helping me out! Are you ready for #2 yet???
Our entire Thursday was quite lazy...Finley was in jammies ALL day, poor kid never left the house!
Saturday morning we woke up to snow, then it rained ALL day and most of the snow disappeared again....it was a long day inside.
Patrick went hunting Saturday afternoon/evening Finley & I were suffering from cabin fever and did a little of everything to stay busy!
You know that bubble that forms when you open a paint bottle? Finley looks forward to popping those bubbles with his paint brush...but it didn't work so well this time. This was the end of painting - he wanted nothing to do with it after this!
Finley & I had ice cream cones for a bed time snack...
...Grandpa's Boy LIKES ice cream!
This afternoon Finley & I attended Jake's 3rd birthday party..it was a Toy Story party! Thanks to Grandma Kathleen, Finley had the perfect t-shirt to wear!
Finley went fishing for prizes!
Jake had a really large TALKING balloon - Finley wished it was his!
We had pizza, cake and ice cream...yummy red frosting lips!
Finley won two prizes fishing and brought home a goody bag full of fun - what a lucky little boy! Happy Birthday Jake!
