An Artist?

Good thing Finley doesn't get sick often, we can't afford to have him on medicine.  Grandma gave Finley three wrapped presents, each time he took his medicine he got to pick one.  Her gifts got us started, only 17 more doses to go...and believe me, he's looking for the gift bag immediately upon swallowing.  One of his "medicine presents" was window markers!

Maybe Finley will be an artist?  Another "medicine present" was a Cars notebook; he started drawing, then I asked him to draw a face...

...seriously all on his own!!

The only coaching I gave was, Can you add ears? Can you add hair?  I'm so impressed!

Any midwesterner knows, you don't take advantage of beautiful fall days - they could be limited! Monday was beautiful, so our play date relocated to the park!

We met up with Laurie Jo, Lily, & Lucy...

...and bumped into Elle & Gramma!

Hadley took the opportunity to wear summer clothes...

...because two days later she was in fall clothes. Hadley is cute enough to pull off jeggings :)

Hadley tried out the exersaucer!  She seems too little for these big toys, just more proof that she's growing up before my eyes.

It went OK for a few minutes, then she got tired and did her favorite thing - suck on her hands.  Her hands are constantly in her mouth!

This post is early, we're in Chicago for a wedding - Uncle Michael (Patrick's brother) is getting married.  Keep your fingers crossed that Finley will walk down the aisle!  Hopefully we'll have some adorable pictures next week - Finley in a tux and Hadley in her new dress :)
