We are definitely in the middle of fall - the weather is cool, it's time for parent-teacher conferences and pumpkins are coming out. Grandma had a kid-full day on Thursday, they falled-up our front entrance.

And Hadley's really into wall art. She's a fast graffiti artist and has a brother that loves to report it to me...now if I could just get him to tattle BEFORE rather than after.
We've got a shoe-thing going on around here.
She'll SO be a 16-year old that's Facebooking about her annoying parents...of course, FB will probably be replaced by something cooler (and scarier) by then.
Jill & Kristi came to town for a Girl's Night, we had over six hours of uninterrupted conversation, it was perfect. The Spuds O'Plenty were perfect too.
It was Finley's last soccer game of the fall season, his team will resume play in the spring. We brought a favorite fan along!
It was wet, cold and drizzled the entire game.
Playing defense! I lost count, but I'm certain that Finley's overall goals ended in the red.
Easton & Spencer came over to play, to my surprise they got along the entire time. There was no fighting...
...just one little pout, but it was over so quickly I'm not counting it.
Hadley tried to keep up, but sometimes got locked out.
In 3 hours they played...Batman & Robbin, soccer, two board games (for one second), house, hide-n-go-seek, pool, hot wheels, dress-up, trick-or-treating and construction. They exercised, had lunch, wet their hair in the shower, covered themselves in Febreeze, went on vacation (dragging suitcases around then sitting in the airplane, aka soccer net) and found Christmas presents...ALL WHILE GETTING ALONG. I'm over-excited about them getting along because it's usually my child that's the stink-pot. It's also a glimmer of hope that maybe someday this could be the norm?!
Saturday afternoon was a perfect inside-day. Finley liked the Angry Birds game, it was one of the Christmas presents Rugrat #1 (Spencer) and Rugrat #2 (Finley) discovered downstairs.
Zoey loves to watch the littlest littles eat....
...she goes back and forth between high chairs.

A HUGE, HUGE congratulations to our friends Melissa, Dave & Elle! Their adorable baby girl was born this week and I got to snuggle her at less than 24 hours old. So teeny and so much hair - just like newborn Elle. Finley can't wait to meet Elise and Hadley can practice using her new word, baby. Congrats!
