It can't be worse than this.
The latest Happy Meal toys were made for Finley - Batman!
A rainy Friday morning begs for car races. 2-3 times each week they play really well together.
My school hosted its annual Fall Festival, this is one of Finley's favorite nights of the school year. He happily plays every game. This year he gave himself a new job - Hadley's helper. He was the best big brother and helped Hadley just the right amount, allowing her to play games and assisted as needed. He even walked with his arm around her. I had a few parents comment how sweet Finley was, proud mom...even if he had them all fooled.
There was an awesome face painter this year - no more hearts, stars and pumpkins, she was a professional. Thankfully we got in line right away, some families spent all evening waiting for a turn.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle - Leonardo.
A sparkly butterfly.
Hula-hooping.
It was at the Fall Festival last year that Finley learned to break dance by watching the 4th-5th grade boys in awe. Since then, he break dances 2-3 nights/week at home. I wish everyone could be a fly on our wall, it's hilarious because he's incredibly serious about it. This year, Finley broke out his own moves.
It was a wet and drizzly soccer game.
Patrick subbed as the coach. Finley scored two goals. And Hadley asked, Where Shawna? (Shawna was here for the last game).
My uncle Howie unexpectedly passed away this week. Today we gathered in support of his family.
The kids table...
...Fran wondered if I was taking pictures for the blog. Hi Frannie :)
Girls smile and pose. Boys try to get away.
Unless you trick a boy by saying you have a surprise.
We celebrated Carolynne & Neil's wedding - it was a great night with many of my oldest friends. My dancing feet were sore this morning.
Finley has had his heart set on his Halloween costume. I made a few alternate suggestions that could have a matching little sister. No go, so off to Amazon to order his current favorite character. A sneak peek.
