Week One - We Survived!

We survived our first week at home! It’s been a busy week! We had many visitors, so many people have been anxious to meet Finley – I can’t blame them, he’s a sweetie! Grandpa even stopped by once to see if he’d grown. Great-Grandma Market came for a visit too!

Finley and I also took a few outings…we went to the doctor, to the mall, out for coffee (twice), to a housewarming party, to Target, and to the grocery store. What mom learned? Errands aren’t as quick and easy as they once were.

Finley LOVES to sleep - so do his sleep-deprived mommy and his "sleep-deprived" daddy...mommy's not sure why daddy is sleep deprived, he gets wwwaaaayyyy more than she does!


Two BIG announcements:

• Congratulations to Matty and Brooke! They welcomed their 3rd child (and first son) Hayden Bradford this week. Hayden was 11 pounds - way to go Brooke, I hope Matty buys you an extra special Push Present!
  


• Congratulations to Kristi and Dan - they are joining the parenthood club! BabyMac is expected in February. I'm so excited for them as they start this crazy journey. I email Kristi my "thought for the day" each day so she knows what she's feeling/thinking is totally normal.
