Finley Goes Camping!

On Monday, Finley & Stephanie delivered pumpkins to Duncan's preschool!  Each fall, Stephanie's parents grow and deliver pumpkins to Mayah's, Riley's & Duncan's classes - what a fun tradition!

Finley got his own pumpkin - he's very proud of it!

Grandma will be taking Finley to gymnastics this week, so she came with to see how it works and take pictures!

This week, the kids swung on the bars...

...worked on the balance beam (Finley gets nervous up there!)...

...practiced forward rolls...

...and jumped on a BIG trampoline!

Grandpa & Grandma returned from Europe and went straight to the ER!  Grandpa spent four nights in the hospital and finally came home Saturday.  Finley was scared of the hospital bed and kept a safe distance from Grandpa!

On Thursday, we crashed Auntie's playdate with a friend and went to the Sports Center too.  The boys climbed the wall - Spencer had no problems (on left), but Finley's pants were too slippery, he couldn't get to the top!

Playing with Easton?  No - playing ON Easton!

Finley had fun playing bean bags over and over and over and over.

The great debate from last week...crib tent or big boy bed???  Crib tent!

Finley is excited to bring toys to bed again!  After using toys to help escape, they'd been banned; he slept with his firetruck, golf clubs, George, cars and other random toys this week.

Finley really liked the tent when we put it on, he jumped in and acted all goofy  Then came bedtime and we zipped him in...he wasn't happy and it took 7 (long) minutes for all to quiet.  Patrick & I feel strange putting him into it each night, BUT, he no longer cries and Finley has not woken up once in the night!  Coincidence?  Probably, but we're all more rested!

Saturday we met Auntie, Spencer & Easton at Govin's Meat & Berries Farm for the Pumpkin Patch!  We started off at the petting zoo, the animals were excited to see the boys!

There were duck races, but Finley wasn't quite strong enough to pump water...

...he preferred to be the duck-retriever!

We took a train ride out into the pumpkin patch!

We jumped in the hay...

...and crawled in a "corn" box - it was a sandbox filled with corn!

We saw a jack-o-launcher that shoots pumpkins REALLY high into the sky.

Finley'd had enough and was walking away (seriously!)...

...so we walked around the patch a little!

We picked one pumpkin to take home!

Welcome home Grandpa & Grandma!  We are happy you are back!  We hope Grandpa gets well soon, thankfully, he already feels better!
