This was my first two-day work week, now that Leslie is back from leave, I'll work Mondays-Tuesdays and every other Wednesday - it was nice to have a full Wednesday at home. We started off by baking cookies, then Finley got his flu shot.
I really wanted to run to Target ALONE, so Grandma kept Finley busy at the mall. Spoiled much? THREE RIDES!?!?
Grandma called when they left the mall, Finley says he wants to come to my house. What? Finley can't say that. He wants to come take a nap at Grandma's. Umm, OK? And the Sleeping Prince slept peacefully for 3.5+ hours, now I see why, Grandma has quite the set up for a little boy!
Finley finished gymnastics this week, they brought out all of the favorites and allowed 15 minutes of FREE time!
Each gymnast was called up to receive their certificate from Ms. Jane, Finley's so proud!
Grandma carved and delivered her annual jack-o-lantern...
....we lit it each night!
On Thursday we took a road trip to Jill, Gavin & Maddie's house - Becky, Melissa & Elle came too. It was noisy, busy and FUN!
On Friday we took another road trip, this time to Rice Lake for breakfast with Great Grandpa Witz & Eva. It was the first time Finley wore his Halloween costume and he was NOT HAPPY about it - he refused to walk in his boots!
We went to M&J for trick-or-treating! I snuck Finley's boots back on and he refused to walk...until someone held out a candy bowl and what do you know?? He CAN walk in them!
The office employees were VERY generous and Finley filled his fireman's hat FULL of candy - lucky boy!
Spencer & Easton slept over at Grandpa & Grandma's Saturday night, the boys put on their costumes for Carol & Bill. While we were waiting, Grandpa read books to the Fireman and Puppy.
Finley was spoiled again - many people gave him extra special trick-or-TREATS! Grandma & Grandpa, Grandma Kathleen & Grandpa Pat, Carol & Bill, Grandma Lynn & Grandpa Jim - Thank You!
HaPpY HaLlOwEeN!
