In an effort to buy time (save my sanity), this week I'll (most likely, no promises) do two posts...here is last week, check back mid-weekish for Christmas. I've got a bazillion holiday pictures to sort through.
Finley's newest trick? He slides his little chair everywhere! Over to the counter, up to "my puter", to the junk drawer, to the kitchen-gadget drawer and to the pantry for "treats". So safe...but so much fun for a 2-year old to reach EVERYTHING.

Finley's last week at Stephanie's came and went; I left my camera for Stephanie to take some pictures. Here's the morning routine (and something Finley will really miss)...snuggle time!
They baked cookies! Lucky for us, Finley brought home a plate of cookies - although he wasn't into sharing them. Finley carried the little plate around and told us (a million times) where he'd made them.
Finley was drinking out of the measuring spoon...one teeny sip at a time :)
I love the aprons! Notice which one is sampling the dough?!
And the final product...so proud!
They danced to bubbles! How lucky - I would never think of (or consider) blowing bubbles inside my house :)
Finley & Duncan played outside in our newest snow!
And just like that, our week was over. Finley brought home thoughtful presents from Stephanie and family. For mom and dad, he made a hand-ornament that we immediately hung on our tree. Finley received a play-doh set, which he loved - he carried the unopened package around for two days saying, "Dephnie's hou". And my favorite? Finley's very own picture book. Stephanie created a real book using pictures of Finley, her family and Finley's favorites (Harley, buses, trains, cars and cheeseballs) from her house - what an awesome keepsake for us!
On Friday morning, Uncle Ryan cleared a "rink" on the lake for Spencer. We stopped over to check it out too. At first, Finley wasn't interested in walking on the ice - he stood there.
Finally he decided to pick up a stick...
...and get in the action! Finley would shoot and Uncle Ryan would pass the puck back to him. He took 10 shots, then it was over and he again became frozen in one spot?! Spencer, on the other hand, is a natural - I'm sure we'll be attending his hockey games in a few years!
