Hadley can pull to a stand, get back down (not always gracefully) and has recently started this strange Downward Dog/Bear Crawl position. She's happy to be a crawler and gets mad when she can't keep up with us. Her speed makes taking pictures near impossible - she's after the camera.
People comment that Hadley's such a happy baby. She really is. She's shown a little personality (attitude) by throwing herself backwards if you take away a desired item. But most of the time, she's like this.
Hadley has five teeth, number six is crazy-close to poking out. She loves to go outside, she cries when we come in. She's not crazy about baby food, which makes meal time interesting. I'm a chicken when it comes to trying 'real' food (I have an irrational fear of choking), but she's forcing me to offer her more. She's been sleeping well and almost seems to be falling into one nap/day. Hadley has started saying mamama, dadada, bababa (not sure what it means), she signs all done and more. She gives the sweetest baby open-mouth kisses.
Hadley loves to play with anything that's not a toy, including stickers. I deleted 50 pictures trying to get one decent shot with her 10-month sticker.
Hadley has a big brother that continues to adore her. I feared when she started crawling that she'd drive Finley insane by getting into his things (he's not famous for being good at sharing). He has his moments, but 95% of the time, he's incredibly sweet to her. He tried to help us take Hadley's picture.
She was done - the barrette came out and the sticker was off. Happy 10-Months to the sweetest baby girl!
Opposite Day? The wrong kid is sleeping.
Hadley is interested in many of the things Baby Finley was interested in - remotes, cell phones, digging in the pantry, unrolling toilet paper roll, eating paper and the same cupboards. Hadley in the first picture, Baby Finley in the second.
Jewel brought over items for the Bob's House thrift sale, a few of Marcus & Franny's old toys have made it into our house.
We had a play date at the Sports Center with Melissa & Elle...Finley was there too, I just didn't take many pictures.
We dyed Easter Eggs, Finley loved dropping them into the cups and pulling them out to see the new color.
He took his job very seriously.
Ta-da!
Saturday we celebrated Spencer's 4th birthday...for the third time! This party was held at the YMCA. The kids started off with gym time - hockey, bounce house, scooters, climbing mats and basketball.
Love.
Hadley noticed the camera.
For once, Finley didn't have a meltdown while Spencer opened gifts. But look who else was getting into the middle of things.

Monster cake!
Happy 4th Birthday to my favorite Spencer!
On Easter morning, Finley was ecstatic to see the Easter Bunny had come...and he left a mess! There were carrots scattered and Finley couldn't believe it! I love kids :)
Finley hunted eggs with such enthusiasm.
...but then she started following along.
She didn't catch onto the egg-thing, but she was all over her basket-pail.
Finley's found his pail in his favorite (only) hiding spot, between the wall and our china cupboard.
A pail of favorite things can bring such excitement.
Family pictures, near impossible to get everyone looking good at once, it doesn't matter if it's the four of us...
...our two kids...
...or the five littles together. Not perfect pictures, but awfully cute kids!
Hadley modeling my first Easter bib that my mom made for me.
There was an Easter Scavenger Hunt! Grandma started with the first clue...
...and they were off! There were 20ish clues that took the kids all over the house.
After a corn-less lunch, there was an Egg Hunt outside. Each boy had his own color of eggs to gather, a good idea.
Our kids were spoiled by others too - two sets of neighbors brought over baskets of goodies and Grandma Lynn & Grandpa Jim had a special package for them each. Hadley wasn't sure about the sunglasses, but they looked cute for one second. Finley's favorite was the binoculars, he was looking out the window all afternoon.
