We have a king-sized bed, yet these two are rightnexttome all night long. My spot was the six inches right between them.
When my kids were babies/toddlers, no matter where they started in their crib, by morning they'd be on the opposite end and flipped upside down. Finley hasn't outgrown that. He travels all over the bed, it's amazing he feels rested in the mornings.
Every night in his own bed, he flips upside down and kicks the pillows off.
Finley's class won the Box Top collection contest. There's Mrs. Gilbert - Finley has been so lucky to have her as a teacher. He loves her (me too).
He met Mrs. Gilbert a few summers ago when she taught his Safety Town class. Finley & I were both very excited when he was placed in her homeroom this year. One night he called Grandma because Mrs. Gilbert was catching a cough and he wanted to bring her cough drops (Life Savers). Not sure why I couldn't do it, but Grandma obliged and he brought in two rolls of Life Savers for his favorite teacher.
I wish kids didn't need "Brain Breaks" throughout the school day, but they do and Finley loves them. We found some of the dances/songs they use in first grade and now he takes Brain Breaks at home too ;)
Hadley's 4K celebrated Valentine's Day w/ a Sweetheart Breakfast.

At Thanksgiving she was thankful for her dad (eyeroll) and at Valentine's Day, she loves the Packers.
Both kids got haircuts, it was the first time Hadley had hers washed too - she looked relaxed.
Thursday might've been the craziest day of my not-career...We kicked off w/ the Sweetheart Breakfast at 8, at 8:45 we dropped Finley off to school, 10:00 Hadley's classroom Valentine's Day party, 10:30 my haircut, 10:30 Hadley's dance class, 12:30 dropped Hadley off at 4K, 3:45 picked up Finley, 4:15 picked up Hadley, 4:30 kids' haircuts, 5:15 dinner in the car, 6:00 flag football, 7:00 meeting at church. Seriously too much for one day, Grandma had to help w/ the overlapping!
When we got home, it took me another hour to clean everything out of my car.
Hadley had a playdate w/ Timber so I could grocery shop alone.
And when she came home, Timber came too.
Grandma Kathleen came to babysit...
...because we went to M&J's Christmas Party. It was held at the not-opened-yet Lismore Hotel, it was fun to get a sneak peek of what's going to be a really neat place.

We celebrated Easton's 6th birthday!
Nolan refuses to let me take his picture. So I drove him nuts by taking a bunch...

Easton's party was a Hockey Party...which made me a little nervous because my kids have never-ever ice skated before.
I was afraid of two things - they'd fall/get hurt and refuse to try again. Or Finley would be embarrassed because all of the kids his age would be racing and skating in circles around him. Uncle Ryan got out the trainers...
...they pushed off...
...and did well!
I was floored when Finley wanted to try skating w/o the trainer.
And the next thing I knew, he was passing a puck w/ Easton. And Easton was being so so so sweet to him. He was encouraging Finley, he'd go get the stray pucks, it was so fun to watch a little cousin helping a big one.

Easton didn't seem excited about our Shopkins gift at all...but we're hoping it's because they're kinda girl toys and he was sitting in front of a group of boys...
...but if he secretly loves them, then we invite him to our house anytime.
Next weekend will be Finley's first Pinewood Derby, the car is being built! Fingers crossed it'll be a super speedy car...
...and that my dining room table isn't a permanent workshop (or ruined)!
