My bed-headed musicians.
Free jell-o and cookies keep little shoppers happy.
Finley's first three dentist appointments (rather attempts, we never really got to the exam) didn't go well at.all. For weeks I'd been prepping him for his upcoming appointment. Finley did perfect! Finley liked the Batman protective sunglasses and knew a prize box waited at the end.
I sat in awe the entire time - Finley kept his mouth open, didn't freak out when she squirted/sucked the water and allowed the hygienist to clean his teeth.
Dr. Terry counted Finley's teeth and checked for cavities - none! Yay, such a relief to have a pleasant visit!
Hadley has learned how to beg for things she likes.
It was cold watching soccer this weekend! Go Raccoons!
This picture reminds me of Halloween in WI. Our trick-or-treaters need costumes big enough to accommodate snowsuits - same for soccer uniforms. Finley wore pj pants under his shorts and socks.
Finley was excited about soccer this week!
He scored four goals...three for the Badgers (them) and one for the Raccoons. Bringing his season total to -7 and +3.
Regardless of which team receives his points, he's happy to score!
Finley had a special cheering section this week! Thanks Auntie, Spencer & Easton!
We made our first fall food - applesauce. Finley's preschool class made it last week and they sent home the recipe, Hadley LOVES it!
With the change of seasons comes closet-shifting...summer to fall and from Heidi's house to ours. Finley LOVES to get Spencer's clothes. He certainly gets plenty of new clothes (thanks Grandma!), but he really likes getting Spencer's (weirdo). I recently convinced him that new shoes are cool! Before he'd run to school showing off his "new" shoes that were dirty and well-worn by Spencer. We went through Spencer's 4T stuff and within 24 hours, he'd changed his outfit three times.
Birthday cupcakes for Patrick!
We have a copycat in our house. Whatever he does, she does. Finley dances, Hadley dances (I love this one). Finley marches, Hadley marches. Finley sings, Hadley sings. Finley brushes his teeth, Hadley brushes her teeth. Finley takes off his socks, Hadley takes off her socks. You get the idea.
Copycat.
